Last nights meeting at the Leadership Institute was wonderful. Pastor Ofe translated for PC. That was fun watching him and listening to him through an interpreter. He taught on the difference between being a follower and a disciple. It moved the congregation. Pastor Ofe started crying while she was translating. He challenged them to step out of being a follower and always looking to God and others to have their needs met, into being a disciple and having living waters flow and meeting the needs of others. When the teaching was over he started calling out people with specific issues; back problems, babies that had passed, in need of jobs and prophesied over them. Then he did the normal Campbell alter call and asked if anyone needed prayer and all 80 people came up! We spent 3 1/2 hours praying and prophesying (and everything in between) over everyone in the room. It was a lot of fun. Very moving. We've been receiving confirmations from the pastors and leaders today about how accurate the words were and how thankful they were for the service. Everyone is very excited about Sundays service. We are trying to figure out how we're gonna pray for 500 people! LOL!
The missionary ladies meeting was beautiful. Lots of tears, asking God to heal brokenness, forgiving those that have hurt them. I ministered prophetically to the group and to a few personally. Got to do a little bit of deliverance and tongue-filling. LOTS of FUN!!! Everyone left encouraged and energized in Jesus. Out of it we have personal ministry time set up tonight with one of the missionary couples. Charlie and I are looking forward to seeing what Jesus has for them!
Thursday and Friday we get to sight see! We are going to the Mayan Ruins and to Lake Panajachel. Yeah for family time! Saturday we go to the town of Carolingia. We will get to work with 100+ kids in a gang infested area. (This will be good for Brianna and Sydney.) Sunday morning we have the church service, and Sunday night is a home group in Guatemala City.
So I will write again sometime early next week. Maybe Tuesday. We miss and love you all. I pray you are being blessed by the guest speakers. I am having a very hard time uploading my pixs! But Rebekahs blog has some from last nights meeting on it. The link is on the right side of this page, Guatemala Summer 2008.

Devon did a great job giving the word tonight. I got a lot out of it and I even took notes for PC to read when you guys get home..LOL
This doesn't surprise me - you guys make an awesome team and God thinks so too cause it sounds like he set you up and put you to work! Makes me want to be there with you! I will pray for super natural energy... sounds like you are going to need it! I can't wait to hear the stories in detail - Marissa style!
I love you and miss you too!

Please tell the girls I Love them..

Thank you for pouring yourselves out as a family & allowing God to be glorified in this place...here & there;-) The pics are truly breathtaking & really looking forward to hearing as much as you are able to put in words on move of the hand of God while you were/ are down there as well as seeds planted.
Things have moved forward tremendously while you were gone: the speakers have been amazing in allowing God complete "control of the mic" from Devon on Wed, Daniel's word Sunday (the CD doesn't do it justice--I still haven't seen the ark...:-0)to Adam the next Wed (I want to go to Russia!) Seriously, this word was great in refreshing our model of prayer life for incredible results!!, Oh, And Lonnie Sunday was great on Reaching Our Potential...knowing who we really are in this/ our world in the conversation we keep, etc...Wow, everything ties together so perfectly. The equipping of the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry...
God Bless You All!!
